On the 19th of May, we hosted the second SugarCRM event (www.eventocrm.com) in Portugal. First of all I would like to thank SugarCRM for all the support given. We have also to thank all the event sponsors - Talend, Ipbrick, Novell, Javali and Acitel.

It was a major success, we had 270 people present and amazing feedback from the audience. I’m not joking, just see the next picture (of course I chose the best perspective photo )

I would like to highlight two main topics that where presented by different people in this event: the CRM approach to the The Cloud / Social Networks  and Marketing 2.0  new trends  with CRM.

The first topic was presented by Mitch (that did a great presentation - not my comment, it was the feedback from the audience ) showing how SugarCRM is handling this new trend, the Cloud. We will post all the presentations in the event blog, so subscribe to the RSS (http://eventocrm.blogs.dri.pt/feed/) and follow the updates. Mitch presented the SugarCRM deployment over the cloud and explained in a very easy way what is the meaning of the cloud for SugarCRM. Claudio (he created a new IT concept - Claudio Computing ), did a presentation about the interaction of SugarCRM with the Social Media (Twitter, Linkedin, etc…).

The Second topic was the marketing2.0. We had two amazing presentations - one from Silvio Stafuzza and another from José Luiz Moutinho.
